Cronuts
Since its inception in 2013, Chef Dominique Ansel's Cronuts have taken
the world by storm. Much like Pierre Hermé Macarons, there is a
perpetual line of people outside Domninique's Bakery waiting to get
their hands on a limited supply. The Cronuts are so coveted, that at one
point, it was sold by scalpers who bought it for $5 and sold it in
black markets for up to a whopping $100!!! How crazy is that!
My first taste of the Cronut, however was in a place far, far away from
New York.

A couple of months back, my husband's office had a potluck lunch, and all the leftovers were shared and sent back with everyone. And along came this amazing creamed corn that I haven't been able to take my mind off since. With milk, cream cheese and a light seasoning, it was comfort food at its best. Chocolate Macaron
Emboldened by my recent success with the Cashew Macaroons, I decided to
give these elusive French Macaroons one more shot. Truth be told, I had
rather two, catastrophic incidents with the macaroons in the last few
years, and I had almost completely given up on them.
But recently, I've been a little active on Facebook, and I see all these
lovely ladies in the 'Home Bakers Guild' group post such amazing
